Laurel and Hardy played in YORK only once. w/c 22 March 1954, at
the Empire Theatre. They stayed at the Royal Station Hotel, York

It appears that the people of York where very blase about the Hollywood
legends being in town, and newspaper reports were pretty well non-existent.
