1947 BRITISH TOUR
8 B&W Postcard Set
Laurel & Hardy made FOUR tours of Britain.
The first, in 1932, was purely a promotional tour. During the next three,
in 1947, 1952, and 1953-54, they toured the theatre circuit in Variety shows,
playing a stage sketch. All these photographs were taken during the
1947 Tour. Four of the set show them in stage costume. The others show them
at special events, which they attended during the day:
