LAUREL and HARDY in BRADFORD

Laurel and Hardy played in BRADFORD twice. The first time was w/c 28 July 1952,
when they played the Alhambra Theatre, and stayed at the Midland Hotel, in Cheapside.

MIDLAND HOTEL (2009)

When Stan and Ollie returned to Bradford, w/c 22 March 1954,
they again played the Alhambra, but stayed at the Queen's Hotel, in Leeds.

It appears that the people of Bradford where very blase about the Hollywood
legends being in town, and newspaper reports were pretty well non-existent.
